At Zin Flow, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the handling of user data in our application.

• Limited Server Features: Zin Flow primarily operates on your local device, with only the Smart Distillation Engine and the Pro-exclusive Dedicated Email Server requiring cloud services.
• Smart Distillation Engine: The Smart Distillation Engine feature requires communication with our server to provide its service, now fully implemented on the cloud to improve efficiency and content extraction quality, but all access is fully anonymous and no personal user information is collected, stored, or processed.
• Dedicated Email Server: Pro users can use our dedicated email server feature to forward EPUB files to Kindle mailboxes, we only forward files without storing content, and all processing is anonymous, not associated with user information.
• Library Feature: The new Library feature allows you to save and organize URLs, with all Library data stored locally and synced via iCloud, which we cannot access.
• In-App Browser: The built-in WebView browser allows access to and saving content from sites requiring login. Browsing history and login information remain on your device only and are not collected or transmitted.
• iCloud Sync: The app enables iCloud synchronization by default, allowing your data to automatically sync across iOS and Mac devices. Your data is stored in your personal iCloud account, which we cannot access.
• No Data Collection: We do not collect, store, or process any user personal data outside of what is necessary for the app's functionality.
• No Third-Party Communication: Zin Flow does not communicate with any third-party services, nor does it allow any third parties to collect user data.
• Local Storage: App data is stored locally on your device. We cannot access this data.

Zin Flow is primarily a client-side application with limited server features:

• All your data primarily remains on your local device, and is also synced by default to your personal iCloud account.
• We have no access to your data stored locally or in iCloud, and no ability to collect or store it on servers.
• Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features and Apple's iCloud security mechanisms.
• In-app browser usage data (such as browsing history, login state) is only stored locally and is not transmitted or collected.
• When processing web content with the Smart Distillation Engine, we only use the URL data you provide to extract content and do not associate or store your personal information.
• When Pro users use the Dedicated Email Server feature, we only forward EPUB files to your designated Kindle mailbox without storing or analyzing file content, and all information is processed anonymously.
• iCloud synchronization is enabled by default. If you do not wish to use this feature, you will need to disable iCloud on your device or avoid using an iCloud account.

Regarding Zin Flow's iCloud synchronization feature, please note:

• The app enables iCloud sync by default, and your app data will automatically synchronize through Apple's iCloud service, allowing you to access your data on all devices signed in with the same Apple ID.
• Synchronized content includes URLs saved in your Library and app data such as reading status, creating a seamless experience between iOS and Mac versions.
• Data synchronization is subject to Apple's iCloud Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
• We do not control the iCloud service and cannot access any data stored in your iCloud account.
• If you do not wish to use the iCloud synchronization feature, you will need to disable iCloud in your device system settings or avoid signing in with an iCloud account.

Regarding the new Library feature:

• All URLs and document content saved in your Library are stored only on your device and in your iCloud account (if sync is enabled).
• When you use the Share Extension to save content directly to your Library, the data is stored directly to your device without going through any intermediate servers.
• All organization of articles (chapter ordering, section adjustments, etc.) when exporting to EPUB is processed locally only.
• Your reading habits, collection preferences, and other information are not collected or analyzed.

Regarding our cloud-based features:

• Smart Distillation Engine:
  • The new version of the Smart Distillation Engine moves web content extraction processing entirely to the cloud to improve extraction quality and efficiency.
  • During processing, we only use the URL you provide to retrieve and process content, and do not associate or store your personal information.
  • All processing results are immediately returned to your device and are not stored long-term on our servers.
  • The extraction process happens completely in the background, improving user experience and processing speed.
• Dedicated Email Server:
  • Pro users can use our dedicated email server to send e-books to Kindle devices.
  • This feature only forwards your EPUB files to your designated Kindle email address without storing or retaining your uploaded e-book content.
  • The processing is completely anonymous, and we do not associate forwarded files with specific user identities.
  • We collect anonymous usage statistics (such as file size, forwarding success rate) to improve service quality, but this data is not associated with your personal information.
  • The service is only used to solve issues with certain email providers (such as iCloud) whose handling of large attachments is incompatible with Kindle, ensuring a more reliable e-book delivery experience.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
